AudioLemon - Dub Siren

'A Dub Siren built in Max4Live inspired by the one found on Dub Scrolls. A Square wave controlled by 2 independent LFO's (a rectified sine and a pulse) both with retriggered phase, and a chopper section. There are 20 MIDI CC accessible internal presets and new ones can be saved as a seperate instance or with your track. It was designed to be used Live so it is very simple, very user friendly and sounds just about right I think. For more information just open it up and have a look inside.

You can download it here.

I hope you like it!'

3 Drum Machines/2 Modulars/1 Tu-Ki - Live

"So we had a sweet day down in Tu-Ki's studio. We brought the modulars down to see if they'd play nice with all other gear. An 808, a 909, an MPC 1000, 2 modulars and Tu-Ki being killer on the decks. We were just messing about really trying to see if we could get it all synced and working. The track above is a live jam... about 11 mins long... starts cooking a few mins in... no edits, no mastering, no mixing, just the machines sounding raw. The 808 is going through the Frostwave Resonator for a bit more bite. It really was a lovely way to spend my B'Day.

If you like it we are going to try and organise something for this year's DEAF festival. PushMoveClick and Tu-Ki doing a live thing... hopefully projectors and cameras again. Anyways hope you like the track..."

Not A Joke

After I saw this, I spat my cornflakes out. But this is even more sad. Be warned, it goes on for more than 4 minutes.

Dem Boyz - 5 mins then End

Meanwhile over at Audiolemon, the modular synths were bubblin' and squeakin' last week ( minus midi sequencers ) for a five minute experimental jam. I think she turned out quite nice really.....

Grizzle: '...myself and the 3 boys in the pic are trying to get some kind of live modular thing going. We're trying to do it without computers or keyboards. Just analogue sequencers... it can get a bit messy... very messy :) - This is the first one that sounds something like music. A bit too structured maybe but we'll work on warping it up. It's a live 5 minute improv using 3 Euroracks and the Jomox 09. It kind of ends abruptly but Dem Boyz told me to post it unedited so here it is...'
