We had to cancel the show last week due to unforeseen technicals, but we're back on track this week, as tonight's Standard Radio will be brought to you by none other than Major Grave. He'll be providing 90 minutes of Grime and whatnot to keep your Saturday night lively...
Dublin's Jon Oakley (now residing in London) is no stranger to these pages. Here's one from his currently available release on Takeover, and a fine piece of work it is too. Keep em peeled for more.
Standard & Nexx team up to present a night of grime & garage at King 7 featuring a very special guest in the form of Visionist.
Visionist (92 Points/Keysound/502) Fresh off launching his new label, Lost Codes, Visionist is coming to Dublin for his Irish debut. With a slew of forthcoming releases, not to mention his previous output on 92 Points and Keysound amongst others, 2012 looks set to be his year. First cast into the public eye with his appearances on the Boiler Room, Mr 67 has proved his worth as both a DJ & producer. Look forward to hearing an eclectic mix of GRIME & GARAGE, both new & old.
Here is the video from Just Jam 61:
Support on the night will be: Major Grave - Check out his SoundCloud & follow him on Twitter
As a part of this event we are giving away a huge remix from Major Grave. J Sweet put the stems of the famous Kerb track up for download as a part of a remix competition and here you can get the Major Grave Remix.

Here's DJ Bob's vinyl excursion from Saturday night - 4 to the floor beats of various hues and shapes for the full 90 this week; definitely one to keep the spirits up for the (mini) Indian summer.
Lock in again next week for more Standard business....
Better late than never, here's the link from Bob's set on last Saturday's Standard Radio - the usual excursion through the vinyl archives, full of goodies old and new. Be sure to lock in again next week at the same time and place...
